{"id":142768,"date":"2023-12-20T17:24:28","date_gmt":"2023-12-20T17:24:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/magdelaine.net\/?p=142768"},"modified":"2023-12-20T17:24:28","modified_gmt":"2023-12-20T17:24:28","slug":"green-day-share-video-for-latest-single-dilemma-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/magdelaine.net\/celebrities\/green-day-share-video-for-latest-single-dilemma-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Green Day Share Video For Latest Single &#39;Dilemma&#39;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <b>Green Day<\/b> recently released a video for their latest single, &#8220;Dilemma,&#8221; a song from their new album, <I>Saviors<\/I>.<\/p>\n<p>The video directed by <b>Ryan Baxley<\/b>, which begins in black and white and ends in color, shows singer <b>Billie Joe Armstrong<\/b> drinking heavily at a show.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Welcome to my problems\/ It&#8217;s not an invitation\/ This is my dilemma,&#8221; sings Armstrong. &#8220;I was sober, now I&#8217;m drunk again\/ I&#8217;m in trouble and in love again\/ I don&#8217;t want to be a dead man walking.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The band, which first announced &#8220;Dilemma&#8221; on social media ahead of its release, said that they would be &#8220;Throwing a rager of a holiday party&#8221; upon the single&#8217;s release<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;&#8216;Dilemma&#8217; was one of those songs that was kind of easy to write because it was so personal to me,&#8221; Armstrong said in a press release.  &#8220;We&#8217;ve seen so many of our peers struggle with addiction and mental illness.
